jetAVIVA co-founder supports Angel Flight Network

Angel Flight is a charitable organization comprised of pilots who donate their time and airplanes to fly people in medical and financial need. My best friend and co-founder of jetAVIVA, Cyrus Sigari and I have been volunteers for Angel Flight for 15 years. I believe that the experience of helping these people in their times of need, through an expression of my passion for flight, has enriched my life even more than those passengers I've flown. Helping one's self by helping others is truly an uncompromising and limitless opportunity. We encourage all of our friends and clients to participate as Angel Flight pilots.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of flying a young boy and his father from Santa Monica, California to Santa Rosa, California. The boy had recently undergone extensive organ transplant surgeries and was following up with a specialist in the Los Angeles area. This was his return flight to his home near Santa Rosa, California. The weather was beautiful for the approximate 2 hour flight in a Cirrus SR22, most of which the boy slept through. Since I was in the Northern California area, I took the opportunity to meet with a client and three other business associates who live there before returning home.

Angel Flight pilots fly everything from Cessna 152s to Gulfstream IVs. There are many organizations across the USA and across the world that provide this type of service. For more information on Angel Flight West (which I'm a member of) or for more information on the Angel Flight organization in your area, simply visit Angel Flight's organization locator with your browser.
